After investigating how Jamestown colonists turned their struggles into success, we'll follow the Mayflower as it lands in Plymouth and observe the Pilgrims as they begin to create laws and alliances with the Native Americans to help their colony survive. Then we'll analyze the geography and natural resources of the area know as New England to find what it has to offer in promoting the success of establishing settlements.

Journal entries: We will create a list of rules on governing our new home in Plymouth and create a chart on the geography and natural resources of New England.

Homework:  Complete journal entries and outline of pages 69-75.
