American History 8

As we continue through the Cold War, the United States will see a change in society. People will be marrying younger, television will project the ideal family, advances will be made in medicine and there will be a Baby Boom. But the nation will also face threats as communism spreads. We will be drawn into the Korean War and at home, we'll face the growing suspicions that lead to the Red Scare and McCarthyism.

Journal: We will be analyzing political cartoons and creating a map of the advances make in the Korean War.

Homework: Outlining pages 845-859 and journal pages.

Our next test will be on or about Monday, March 27th.
